The Dennis Ceruti Scholarship

Dennis Ceruti served as coach, coordinator, and board member for the Mendon Upton Youth Soccer Program for the 12 years.  In May of 2018, Dennis was diagnosed with ALS, a neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.  During his time as a MUYSA volunteer, Dennis dedicated countless hours to the program and had a major impact on so many past and present MUYSA players.  He helped make our program what it is today and we are forever grateful for his efforts.  Dennis's commitment, work ethic, family values, and fighting spirit define the Warrior Way. 

In honor of Dennis Ceruti and his battle with ALS, MUYSA annually awards two seniors (one male and one female) $2,000 each to continue their education at an academic institution or trade school plus a $500 donation to ALS Therapy Development Institute in their name.
